No one is allowed to interpret the Book of Allah except after he is thoroughly familiar with Ayaat that abrogate or have been abrogated! Al-Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (كرم الله تعالى وجهه) once asked a judge: "Are you familiar with Ayaat that abrogate or have been abrogated?" The judge replied, "No!" Mawlana Ali then responded, "You ruin yourself and others!"
